B1 Parking Lot Resurfacing: How to Reach Us Between 27 September and 20 October
Published 28 Sep 2026 · 3-min read · Guangzhou Patient Guide
Guangzhou United Family Hospital is resurfacing the ground surface of its B1 parking lot. The work runs in two phases between 27 September and 20 October 2026, and it does change the way you drive in and out of the campus — so please allow a little extra time and follow the on-site signs.
The short version: parking is still available. The B2 and B3 levels stay open throughout. The B1 parking lot and the charging-station area inside it are out of service for the duration of the works, and one of the two ramps is closed at any given time — first the north ramp, then the east ramp.
North-zone works, 27 September to 10 October: the north ramp is closed, so enter and exit by the east ramp. South-zone works, 11 to 20 October: the east ramp is closed, so enter by the north ramp and leave through the lane beside the north security office. Park on B2 or B3. The B1 lot and the charging stations remain closed throughout.
North-zone works: 27 September to 10 October
From 27 September to 10 October, the ramp entrance to the parking lot on the north side of the hospital is temporarily closed. Access to and exit from the parking lot are redirected to the ramp on the east side of the hospital.
During this phase, please follow the on-site signs for vehicle access and parking. You may park your vehicle on the B2 and B3 levels. The B1 parking lot and the charging stations are out of service throughout this phase.
South-zone works: 11 to 20 October
From 11 October to 20 October, the east ramp for the parking lot is temporarily closed instead. Entry is by the north ramp of the hospital, and the exit is through the lane beside the hospital’s north security office.
The same arrangements apply as in the first phase: follow the on-site signs and staff directions, park your vehicle on the B2 and B3 levels, and expect the B1 level and its charging stations to remain closed.
The two phases side by side
| Phase | Dates | Ramp closed | Use instead |
|---|---|---|---|
| North zone | 27 Sep – 10 Oct 2026 | North ramp | East ramp, for entry and exit |
| South zone | 11 – 20 Oct 2026 | East ramp | North ramp to enter, north security office lane to exit |
In both phases, park on B2 or B3. The B1 parking lot and the charging-station area are closed throughout.
How to reach us: No. 31 Pazhou Avenue, Haizhu District — between Liede Bridge and Huanan Bridge, with Line 8 Chigang and Modiesha stations a short walk away.
If you drive an electric vehicle
The charging stations sit inside the B1 area, so they are out of service for the whole four weeks. If you normally charge during a visit, please charge before you set off, or plan a charging stop on the way. If you need help finding an alternative, please ask at the entrance and our staff will point you in the right direction.
Coming by metro instead
For these four weeks, Line 8 is genuinely worth considering. Chigang station and Modiesha station are both within walking distance of the hospital, and arriving by metro avoids the ramp changes altogether.
What to allow for when you arrive
- Allow a little extra time on arrival, especially at the busiest clinic hours.
- Follow the on-site signs and the directions of our staff, both on the way in and on the way out.
- Head for the B2 or B3 levels rather than the B1 level.
- If you are worried that the change will affect an appointment, contact us in advance and we will make the arrangements with you.

- Address: No. 31 Pazhou Avenue, Haizhu District, Guangzhou
- By metro: Line 8 — Chigang station or Modiesha station

For international patients
If you are travelling from outside China, the ramp changes are the only thing that changes: appointments, interpretation and the international-patient service carry on as usual. MedTourChina’s care coordinators can arrange airport pickup and a driver who knows the current access route, so that you are not working out the detour on the day of your appointment.
Travelling to Guangzhou for treatment? Send us your appointment date and we will confirm the current access route, the parking arrangements and the documents you need before you travel.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience the works may cause, and we thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
